Engineered & Solid Hardwood Floor Refinishing

Hardwood Floor Refinishing makes old wood floors look new. It fixes deep scratches, chips, dents, stains, and worn areas. Refinishing works on solid, engineered, and parquet floors. We use water-based finishes and stains that dry fast and have no smell. Oil-based finishes are also available.

Pros & Cons of Hardwood Refinishing

We offer different flooring types: Carpet, Hardwood, Hardwood Refinishing, Luxury Vinyl, and Laminate.

Hardwood refinishing fixes dents and scratches by removing a bit from the top layer of your wood floors. You can also choose a new color from many stain options.

Each refinishing removes about 0.5 – 1.5 mm of the top layer. You can do this only a few times, depending on the hardwood’s specifics.

Sandless Wood Floor Refinishing (Buffing & Polishing)

Sandless Hardwood Refinishing is good for wood floors that are in decent shape but need a refresh. This method involves lightly scuffing the floor with a machine and applying a special chemical. Minor damages are fixed before adding a new finish coat. This is also called hardwood buffing or polishing.

This method is medium in intensity, quicker, and cheaper than sanding. It doesn’t remove much of the top layer, but some dust will still settle in your home. It won’t remove deep scratches or dents, and you can’t stain the floor with this method.

Wood Floor Refinishing & Restoration Via Deep Cleaning & Recoat

This is how to clean old wood floors without sanding or losing wood.

With Hardwood recoating, you get a nice look like traditional refinishing without losing wood. You can pick finishes like matte, satin, or gloss, just like sanded floors. Plus, there’s no dust. Hardwood Recoating and Cleaning works best on floors in good shape with little to no damage.

Many choose hardwood recoating every few years to keep floors looking nice and avoid refinishing. Most hardwood floors can be refinished a few times, but there’s a limit. Recoating is a smart way to care for your floors and can save money over time.
